Our Building Resilience Training Course will help you to develop the key characteristics needed to become resilient. It will give you an in-depth understanding of what resilience means and the key characteristics you need to build your resilience You will have the opportunity to assess yourself against each of these six characteristics to identify your development areas.

You will then take a deep dive into each one, gaining tools such as the Trigger-Think-Fell-Behave model, the Circle of Control, and a whole suite of on-the-spot resilience builders. It will give you some highly effective techniques to build and maintain resilience both in the short and long-term.

Develop six resilience characteristics

Learn what is actually meant by resilience and identify some of the things that are currently testing your resilience. Gain insight into the six key characteristics required to be resilient and complete a resileince self-assesment. enabling you to identify your strengths and areas to work on.

Gain a positive-mental attitude

Explore the link between positive metal attitude and resilience and use the “Cause-Effect” model to understand how you currently respond to challenges. Learn how to manage your thoughts to become more resilient and manage yourself and your emotions in potentially triggering situations. Apply the “Trigger-Think-Feel-Behave” framework to some of your own situations.

Focus on what you can control

Learn why focusing on things that are out of your control negatively impacts resilience Understand the power of learning to focus on what you can control and how to take action on these things. Apply the “Circle of Control” framework to one of your own situations to ensure you are focusing your efforts on the right things.

Improve self-care

Understand what self-care really means, take some time to consider how you are currently building in time for this and decide on what changes you can make. Explore some simple but effective self-care tips and how these can dramatically improve your resilience.

Manage triggers on the spot

Gain some simple techniques you can use when you are at risk of being triggered and you need a go to strategy to maintain resilience in that particular moment. Learn how to manage yourself, your emotions and your reactions.

This training course is available for face-to-face delivery. We will travel to your offices and create a fully immersive experience which includes theory, demonstrations, activities, action planning and the added bonus of your employees being able to meet and network with colleagues.

Virtual

This training course can be delivered virtually — either as complete days or over a series of bite-sized modules, helping you to manage you time better. We can adapt the course length and format to suit your needs and we can also offer a hybrid option.
